Geocache Description:

South of L'Anse, Michigan about 4 miles. Just off of U.S. 41 / 141. Park at a small turnout, you will find a sign that says... "Red Pine Plantation. Then a short hike from here. This cache is not on an island but it's name decribes the small lake that has a boggy island with many tamaracks growing on it, a leftover from the ice age.

One gallon camouflaged plastic jar. Start contents are: @ river stones, Soccer ball (mini), Blue and white aqua stones, Hot Wheels car, Red Crab, Coleman figure, Country Bear, Crystal star and fish, Japanese HOT spice (very!), Three mini clips, CocaCola weight, also started off this cache with the M1 Travel Bug
