Geocache Description:

The cache is a 4" ABS pipe, approximately 15" long, with screw in ends, either end is removable. It has received a camoflauge paint job. The terrain in the area is relatively flat, but marshy with some mud holes and lots of high grass, depending on the trail taken. Cache replaced on April 30, 2005.

PIPE DREAMS HAS BEEN REPLACED

Fortunately, only the container was taken by whoever "needed" it. They were nice enough to leave the log and some of the original contents, which are included in the replacement.

A pretty wildlife area for viewing birds and the bay. There are several trail alternatives to get to the cache's new home (including the old one that starts down behind Hilfiker Pipe). Mostly depends on the scenery that you prefer. There are lots of birds in the area, so bring some binoculars and maybe even a camera.

Turn off Highway 101 at the exit where the old rendering plant used to be (the exit just past K-Mart going south).
