Cache is located about 1 mile inside the Broughton Nature and Wildlife Education Area. Trail is up and down a 8 foot wide cut path. Final 30 feet is a steep bushwack. The park is open during daylight hours only. Park entrance is on the left 0.6 miles from St. Rt. 60. on Rt. 821
Cache is full of goodies as expected from the Kickin Chicken. Park in the parking lot off State Rt. 821 (0.6 miles from Rt. 60). Walk about 100 yrds to the clearing and follow the trail to the right up the hill. At the top of the hill, turn left and follow the Powerline Trail that comes in on the left. After a total distance of about 0.7 miles from the parking lot, an unmarked trail (>4 ft. wide) intersects with the powerline trail. Turn right and go about 2/10 mile until the clearing overlooking Interstate 77. Nice view!!. Turn right and bushwack about 30 feet down the steep hill. Cache is in a green ammo box jammed in a chest-high notch of a standing, vine covered dead tree. Make sure you cover it well after you raid the cache.
