One of my favorite spots, especially for a fall/winter hike. The cache is a 1 gallon screw-top container hidden in what remains of an old horse corral. Round trip to the cache and back is about 2.5 km.
The cache is snow-friendly - if you can get there you should be able to find it!
Please keep to the trail - there is only one - even if at times it seems to be taking you further from the cache. It will get you there eventually. And please resist the temptation to climb the dunes, they are fragile as evidenced by the trail diversion you'll find en route along Mud Creek.
For a longer hike (about 8k) continue along the trail until you reach Outer Drive. Head South to the Savannah Trailhead. Follow Savannah to the Tulip Tree Trail which will take you back close to the starting point
