Cache is placed within Crumlin Glen. There are woodland and waterside walks and also a picnic area. There is a Cockle House, which is built in the Glen and provides good views of the waterfall. Cache box is a round screw top container and contains a log book, pencil and pen. Parking co. ords for the Glen car parking are, N 54 37.405 W 006 12.819 as the car park for the Glen is not well signposted.
We have re-located this cache in another area of the Glen after the original container was washed away in the recent heavy rainfall on the 16/08/08. Satellite reception is poor in many areas of the Glen but the above co-ords will take you to the general area of the cache, if you follow the top path of the Woodland Walk until you come to a small clearing you will be in the right area, after finding the cache you can continue on down the steps to the Riverside Walk which will bring you past the Cockle House and the Waterfall and back to the car park on a circular route.
