Geocache Description:

Browns Creek Canyon, Short hike requires sturdy shoes/boots.

Few living people know of this site. It is still as the Indians left it. A rock canyon wall facing south served as an ideal location (in the hunting grounds) to smoke and preserve the meat. The stains from smoke and obsidian chips from working on tools are still evident at the base of the wall. High water has erased other signs of the activities in this area. Cache contents: a few goodies. Stay on the roads to parking spot at N 42 57.257 W 116 27.567. Follow Go-To .40 miles to cache.
