This cache has been archived.

inspicio: One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future, just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it still meets the current

guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

Be warned, this is a hard cache. The terrain is steep, the bush is thick, the heat is relentless and water is scarce.

Buckley's is a well planned multi-cache designed to frustrate and infuriate. Just ask those who have tried. It's course will walk you around some of NSW's most beautiful country and it's views but by the end you will not care and will be pleased to be driving out of the place, find or no find.

The final point, and the cache itself is chocked full of goodies. It's a four litre paint tin sprayed matt black. The first three teams to log a find will recieve a Bronze & Mix Medalion titled- "Buckley's". First place (Blue Ribbon) is in the cache, second and third (Red and White respectively) will be posted after an image is posted proving the find.

Take lots of pics for a webspace please. Place getters are asked to give nothing away upon its completion. Not even how many waypoints. This cache is/was a lot of work, can you get into the Buckley's Club?

You will need:

A resonable level of fitness and common sense.
Three litres of water per person, per day.
Hiking equipment - compass, comfortable clothes, energy bars, support stick, slip/ slop/ slap.
Camping equipment - Tent, light, swag, food, aeroguard etc. A camera - we used two films easily.
Sence of humor and a spoon. - We lost our sence of humor.

As you can see this cache will take more than 1 day. Camping with amenities is provided nearby at The Warrumbungles at a cost or you can camp for free outside the park. Either way take your own wood for a fire and check fire conditions. Summer here is very hot winter very cold Set out early.

We have placed nearby a kiddies cache "Muggles Magic" (1.5/1.5) and a medium cache "Climb to Wheatley's Rock" (3/3) to ease the dissapointment of not finding Buckley's.
You can also visit the famous "Split rock" (1/3) cache placed by Geo-monkeys.

Good luck - because you'll have Buckley's chance!
