Located on the shore of Buzzards Bay, The cache is best accessed by boat but is not needed.
The cache is best accessed by boat but is not needed. If by foot Parking should be made at N 41*38.953 W070*45.969 this will give you about a 3/4 mile hike to the cache site. You can get closer but there is a very limited area to park due to private homes nearby. Do not park in their driveways the will get cranky especially in the summer. The road is a public road and you should be able to walk right out to the cache site with out any problems.
This area has a great view of the bay, and I bet you can see many other cache sites from this location. Check your maps as there maybe a bench mark nearby as well.
Along your walk you will see there used to be cottages on this site but where washed away during one of the hurricanes. And if you are a shell hunter this would be the place to look.
Yes there is a bit of bushwhacking to access the cache but if you are in heavy cover seek an alternate route. And wear long pants to fend off some thorns. Oh before I forget it is easyier from the east.
