Village People Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Mark 42: Well, I haven't been able to get contents and a
logbook for the new cache container I made, and
someone else wants to place a new cache nearby & would
like me to free up the area so that he can place his
cache (within < .1 mile) so I'm going to archive this
one and will eventually put in a new one at another set of
coords I scouted out awhile back.
This one seems to be a bit too exposed because it has been
muggled more than once, so I'm going to let it die.

I'll also make sure to keep a replacement cache on a shelf
and ready to go in the event it (or my other one) disappears
again.
I apologize for the delays, but right now things are just too crazy
to spend time building a new cache and replacing it.
Once things settle down I'll place the new one.

Geocache Description:

Suggested Parking Coords: N 47° 31.295' x W 122° 23.104'

I chose the name for this one because it is sorta behind the Fauntleroy YMCA.
It's in a beautiful park, that I originally thought was small, but came
to find out has miles of trails winding around in it.

Caution: The Wooden Bridges are slippery when wet.

There is no bushwacking needed to find this one.

I originally rated this a difficulty 3 because GPS coverage can be
a bit sketchy, and it is well hidden (please hide it the same way).
I suggest letting your GPS have plenty of time to get a good solid
initial fix before embarking on the trails.

If you have some time on your hands, you might want to pack a picnic,
a camera, and some dry shoes.

There is a map of the park on the information board at the trailhead
(at the parking coords). Have a look while your GPS gets a good
initial position fix.

I went through a lot to scout this location... Rain, thunderstorm, and
harrassment by a Doberman owned by a careless dog owner, followed by
harrassment from the idiot who owned the dog, ending (perhaps fitting
the name of the cache) with him just repeatedly calling me "Faggot" for
lack of anything intelligent to say. I sure hope y'all enjoy this, and
that a few people will find it worth returning for further exploration.

Here is a link to the park's website. from it you can find link to
a "Nature Walk" narrative and crude map of the park, as well as
a link to another park trail map (near the bottom):
