Geocache Description:

Container has changed and hint should give it away.

This cache is located at the site of the oldest Confederate Memorial in the south. The names of 279 Amite County residents who died in service to the Confederacy are engraved here. Next to the memorial is the Liberty Presbyterian Church, founded in 1848, which served as a hospital for soldiers on both sides of the conflict during the Civil War. The cache contains a log. There may be some traffic here in the middle of the day, but it is usually quiet. BYOP.
