Geocache Description:

This is the replacement for the recently fried Moreno Valley Vista cache.

After a string of "no finds" by various local cachers, FishPOET actually came across the charred remnants of what was once the cache. We decided to build a replacement & take it up this past Thursday (10-30-03). Obviously, fire had recently swept the area taking with it, not only the cache, but all of the foliage that once concealed it as well. We wanted to hide it near enough that we could use the original coordinates... not possible, so ignore the coordinates that are written on the side of the container (which is an ammo can). We ended up relocating it to a spot less than 200' away, but we're going to bump the ratings up a half a point each. Good luck!

At the time of placement, the cache consisted of...

1 pack of Puffs tissues
1 pack of Post-It Notes
1 Superball
2 pencils (unsharpened)
1 eyeglass repair kit
4 golf balls
10 O.H.D. geocaching cards
1 Riverside F.D. patch
1 Hot Wheels car (yellow Lotus)
1 multi-purpose corkscrew kind of thing
1 bottle of White-Out
Slurry the Travel Bug
