Geocache Description:

Koko has passed and I am deeply saddened, and Nimbus was stolen. HOWEVER: There are still many cute critters to take a look at.

You have two choices for meeting the requirements for this virtual cache.

You can take your picture (including your GPS) with either the Patagonian Cavy, the Bennett Wallaby or the Coatimundi and post the picture with your log entry. Please don't take a picture of the plaques as they are spoilers for the questions.

OR... Preferrably you can answer these questions and eMail the answers to me (carriemullins@hotmail.com or via geocaching.com). There's a lot to learn here and it's fun!

  1. How tall can the Patagonian Cavy reach?
  2. Who are their smaller (cuddlier) relatives?
  3. What is their lifespan?
  4. How much do they weigh?
  5. How high can they leap?
  6. What do their vocalizations sound like?
  1. What is a less common variety of the "gray" Bennett Wallaby?
  2. What is their lifespan?
  3. What do they eat?
  4. How tall are they?
  5. How much do they weigh?
  1. How long is the Coatimundi?
  2. How tall can they get?
  3. How much can they weigh?
  4. This one's interesting. How far are a Coatimundi's double jointed ankles able to rotate?
  5. How lon can they live?
  1. What other animals do you see? (If any of the plaques are missing, DEFINITELY answer this question to let me know you were there for sure.)
