This is the Far East of the Kingdom of Fife. Another 10 metres or so to the North or East and you will be into the high water mark of the North Sea; much further and you'll need to take Norwegian Kroner with you for the fare home.
It's a tupperware type box, jammed between two rocks. Plenty of rocks to choose from, but this cache will be very easy to find.
The 'proper' way to park your car is to pay 30p and walk the rest of the way, but an easier way is to park on the seaward side of the track leading to the Coastguard station, beside the information board next to the ancient Fifeness Harbour at 56° 16.784'N 002° 35.301'W or perhaps a few tens of metres ahead, also on the seaward side, at the head of the inlet gully of the old abandoned harbour.
The cache is located in such a way that GPS will take you to it. If you walk too far, your GPS will indicate over your shoulder, and give you a nudge towards the position.
The cache has a tendency to migrate from its proper position at the back of its cleft to the front, where it can be seen from the path. To prevent adverse muggledom, please re-place the cachebox at the back, not the front, of the rock cleft.
