A short walk in a nice little park - PLEASE RETURN THE TUBULAR CONTAINER AND MAGNET CAREFULLY TO THE METAL PLATE - a white dot marks the spot!
Mahoney farm was deeded to the Village of Kenilworth by the Mahoney family in 1929. Looking at the neighborhood now, with the expensive mansions overlooking the lake, it's hard to believe this was a farm, not so long ago. Subsequently it was turned into a park and is now bisected by Sheridan Road. Just north of here is former US Senator Charles Percy's home which made the headlines years ago when his daughter was murdered and the killer never found. Please return the tube and magnet to the small metal plate near the white dot to which it is attached!
