Geocache Description:

....Or Moose's Madding Multi NIGHT VERSION

Well here is my 2 cents worth on the Night Vision Thread in the NE forum. I wound up here to do another recent cache (GCH35K) and spotted this ideal nature trail that will accomodate a night vision version of My Lake View series. For the most part the short walk you will take is on a nature path, with numbers on the trees and so on. Of course there is no printed matter to go with the tags! There are 3 stages to this cache. The listed cords will take you to an Information Center with parking for 2-3 autos. The numbers there (in a micro) are readable with your regular flash light. On to the next step which will be a portable Black Light unit and cords for the next step (in UV ink). On to the next step. The next location is the closest to the lake and may take a while. The coords here will send you to the final and ultimate location. There are 3 things that I ask when you do this cache. The first is PLEASE RETURN the UV light to stage 2. And the second is please bring a set of 4 AA batteries for the UV light to leave with the second stage for the next cachers. And last but not least bring flat glowing items for the final cache, it's a UV kind of thing! Anyhow some sage words of advice to make your visit more enjoyable. Please take your time and and expierence the wonders of Night. You will need to bring your own flashlight and spare batteries. Also since this is a WMA, I do wear BLAZE ORANGE!!! Even though your visit will be @ nite. At the lake take some time and turn off the lights and take a good look at the sky. There is a clearing near the big lake you could even bring a chair and relax for a bit. It also would be a good idea to wear some kind of eye protection because it will be dark when you take your hike. Now on to the technical stuff or the fine print. Acording to the sign at the info booth under the paragraph #4 "No unauthorized person shall enter... btween the hours of 9p.m. and 5 a.m." ... So you have till 9p.m. to finish this cache. The winter hours will be a snap and the summer hours you may have to lean towards a very early a.m. hunt! U will have to be a bit creative to 'extract' the numbers for the final cache location. The hours are also stated on the sign @ the entrance. I have personally walked the circuit 4 times (2 @ night and 2 during daylight hours) and checked the numbers and hides. The numbers were all less than 10ft on average with the re-checks. I have also removed any large branches that may have tripped U up, unlike the hides!!! The contents to start are : 1 Regular paper log book 1 Log book that will be a UV log in with UV marker 2 Where is George dollar bills and a Where's Tom 1 Pkg of Sponge Bob Band Aids Assortment of flat glowing things As always thanks for taking your time to visit, be AWARE and have some fun on your way! M.I.L.
