Exit 109 on the 401. An easy off, easy on spot to take a break and hunt a cache midway between London and Windsor. The cache is an ammo box hidden 2 metres from a wide trail. It's a very quiet spot other than the fact that the 401 is very close by! The cache should be accessible in all weather conditions although after heavy snow (which is rare in this area) you might need to park at the entrance and walk in. A good spot to drop Travel Bugs wanting to head West or East.
Entrance is at 13016 McLarty Line, just north of the 401 off Highway 21. You'll find the facilities here primitive, just a picnic shelter and lots of trees, but there is a gas station, restaurant and motel at the 401 exit and a Tim Hortons 5 km south on Highway 21 in Ridgetown.
This park is remarkably clean so please remember to Cache in Trash out.
2018 Update: Things have changed a bit in the almost 15 years since the cache was hidden. The picnic shelter has long gone and the CA is now gated so you'll need to park at the entrance and walk in but it's a good straight track to within a short distance from the cache and a grassy path to within 2m of the cache. Also the hint has been updated to reflect the fact that the tree in which it was hidden is no longer.
