Welcome to a bookcrossing cache in CMP's Brecksville Reservation.
Welcome to the long-delayed, but now available MeadowFalls Bookcrossing cache. This cache is permitted by Cleveland Metroparks, and is located in the Brecksville Reservation. You want to start from the Meadows Picnic Area Parking Lot (Coords: 41° 18.911 N 081° 37.130 W). Note: Meadows Drive; between the gazebo and Valley Parkway, is closed whenever there is snow, but access from Chippewa Drive (And Rte 82) would still be open.
The first two stages of this geocache are located in round Altoids tins that have been painted Forest Green. The first micro contains the coordinates for the second, and the second contains the coordinates for both the cache container itself, and the coordinates of a nearby catching feature that is the recommended place to start the final approach to the cache (due to the often steep hillsides of Brecksville). Even so, be prepared for some climbing, and a decently long hike.
Yes, this is a Bookcrossings cache, and as such, I have left four bookcrossings.com books in the cache (which is a 50 cal ammo box). They are: Dr. Futurity, the 1979 World’s Best Science Fiction, Stir of Echoes and Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said. (thanks to SerenityNow and March4th for the reading material). The cache also contains some other random tchotchkes for those who want to trade but not books.
