This cache starts in one of Bend’s best-kept secrets (as far as parks go). This is a multi stage cache. However, it is all within the limits of Big Sky Park.
If you decide to come, I recommend you budget some time to do one or more of the many activities this park has to offer. Play soccer/softball/baseball/catch, fly a kite, play Frisbee, toss a ball for the dog, build a snowman, have a picnic/BBQ…it is up to you and the weather. Big Sky currently has 4 soccer fields, 2 softball diamonds, and the High Desert BMX park. You will even find a pond near the cache that is a great place for the dogs to swim during warmer conditions. However, if you do bring the dog, PLEASE clean up after it. There is a dog pile clean up site along your travels. In the works for the future are tennis courts, basketball courts and a skateboard park.As you do this cache, IT IS IMPORTANT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A SMALL MIRROR WITH YOU (hence, the name of the cache). This cache is not meant to be difficult. So don’t go out of your way by going off trails too far, climbing in bushes, lift large items, opening things you normally wouldn’t...
