On public land, or directly under it. Just a very short walk, only a few feet, from the road. Once you find the coordinates, you're pretty much "right on top of it".
Small ammo box. You'll need to tackle this one in dry weather, and don't be afraid to crawl on your hands and knees! Wiley Coyote is no longer watching this cache for me, seems his lactose intolerance was a bit too much for the Kansas heat. However, it seems there are some remains of his last meal just to the east of the cache, so watch where you step. I've just redone the entire cache, swapping the old tuppermaid container for a real live ammo box. I've also added a LOT of new swag, most of it just for kids. Since this cache is fairly easy, I decided to make it more appealing for kids to find. It would be a good one for those of you who bring your kids to caches, as they could look for this one as you drive on down the road to get to my other nearby cache, Gar Creek Cache.
I won't demand that you trade kid-friendly items, as usual, any decent trade is accepted, but if you do have items in your swag-bag for kids, it would be appreciated. Please remember to trade even or trade up, and please place the cache back where you found it so that the next person will have as much fun looking for it. Remember also, if there have been recent rains, you will most likely get muddy looking for this one, so plan ahead. Most of all, enjoy yourselves!!
