Geocache Description:

No, we’re not talking cricket scores, but a special cache to celebrate maccamob’s one hundredth cache placement. It’s our way of saying thank you to fellow geocachers for the fun, happiness and pleasure we have had over the last 18 months. We hope this cache will also help to encourage more Geocaching activity here in Victoria.

As this is a special cache for us, the container is larger than usual, and contains items that we think are a little above average in quality as well. The initial cache contents also include two Travel Bugs. We invite you to log your find in the usual ways and take any item from the cache (but only one item per team please, and only one TB per team). However, do NOT leave anything as a swap (when the cache gets low we will top it up again). We invite you instead to place a new cache of your own as soon as you can, somewhere in Victoria, and include its details on this cache page by editing your log here once it has been approved. Please don't log existing caches - the approval date should be after your visit to this cache.

In approaching the cache, please do not bush-bash from the nearest point on the road. There is a well-defined walking track that will take you quite close to the cache. If you park within earshot of the frogs, and within sight of the alternate navigation system, the head of the track will be close by. From there it's about a kilometre to the cache. Don’t forget the aerogard in the warmer weather too, as the flies can be very persistent. As usual, please ensure the cache is well hidden from casual observation again before you leave.
