Geocache Description:

Easy walk but be careful near the edge as the cliff is undercut.

One of the best parts of living in the Pacific Northwest is going to the Beautiful San Juan Islands. Having spent the first decade of my life living there, I always enjoy returning for a visit. I decided to try to reach my "100th" cache while there. Unfortunately, there were only 2 caches on the island and I needed 3. So I found the 2 and planted this one.

The cache is located on Lopez Island in Odlin County Park, .22 miles past campsite #10. Easy walk but be careful at the cache site as the bank is undercut. There is a great bench on which to sit and watch the ferries go by. Very peaceful. A great place to camp and relax. I forgot how friendly island people are. Everyone waves even though they don't know you. Enjoy your stay.

The cache is a quart Tupperware container I received, already stocked, from my daughter and 2 grandchildren as a Christmas present. They were going to plant it with me but at the last minute had to cancel so I planted it with some friends from the island. Beginning contents are
Toy Sheriff Badge
Post-it notes (I got at a cache in Idaho)
Crayons
Green Earrings (I got at another cache)
3 Super Balls
1 Mini Storage Container
1 USA Neck Ribbon (I got this as a first find item)
2 plastic horses
6 plastic reptiles
Mini Slinky
1 Leather Ball
Of course there is a notebook and pencils to log your visit.

*****I have gone to the cache and rechecked it because of the DNFs and the archiving of the cache. It is right where I left it in November. I have tweaked the coordinates by 3/100ths so you should now be right on it. When I checked the original coordinates, they had me within 20 feet of the cache, even in the trees. I have also added to the hint, made the cache easier to find and upped the difficulty. Hopefully we will now log some finds. Have fun. It is a beautiful spot.*****
