Everyone drives past scenic overlooks. Now you have a reason to stop at this one and check out the view.
If you gaze north east from the Lion's Club sponsored binoculars, the Lycoming County Airport terminal building is 1.65 miles away, as the turtle flies. Unfortunately for you, Gentle Traveler, there "ain't now way to get there from here." By road the airport is more like 10 miles away.
This cache is named for my first love, Gloria Winters who played "Penny," Sky King's niece on the old television show. There is a scroll in the 35mm film container and a pencil stub (you might want to bring a pencil to this cache.) for you to record your visit. Please leave a penny in the container and record the date on the penny and mint mark (if any).
I have replaced the pencil in this cache twice. It keeps disappearing. It's a small cache (micro!). Please bring your own writing utensil.
