About .1 Mile down north slope from east west road at crest of ridge. Look for a "rock".Elevation 2645'.
I placed this cache in this location because I like to drive the east west road/trail along the top of the ridge to the south. Some may drive a car on this and say it's fine but most would choose a vehicle with good ground clearance. If ground clearance is an issue, access from the north on flat smooth desert roads should get you within about .35 miles. Please use only the existing roads in the area. The view to the south is of Edwards AFB and Rogers Dry Lake. We scouted this location and placed the cache on Veteran's Day which gave my Wife and I the idea for the name. Many agree that the view can be nice in the area.
The original and 2nd cache was taken. The original ammo box has been replaced by a wide mouth plastic container. It is no longer located right at the "Rock."
The container may be hard to recognize when in view.
