Geocache Description:

The 2nd in a series of caches placed around the Fylde Coast in Lancashire - this one is near the REAL Springfield Nuclear Plant! Look out for Homer Simpson!!

Yes, it's true!!There REALLY is a Springfield Nuclear Plant and it's right here on the Fylde Coast.BNFL Springfield(s) opened in 1946 and manufactures fuel rods. It is a major employer in the area and most people who are born and bred on the Coast have either worked there or know someone who has. Rumour has it that there is a H Simpson working there - not Homer but Harry!The cache is located beside the Lancaster Canal which runs to the north of the facility and is a standard tupperware box.The box is, as you might expect, full of Simpson's goodies. To keep the theme only remove an item if you have another Simpson goodie to replace it with - otherwise TNLN.
