Geocache Description:

Eastbound NYS Thruway

"...What a long strange trip it's been"

This is one of many microcaches located along the eastbound side of the New York State Thruway. It’s intended for the weary traveler on the run looking to break up their trip a little or to just get out and stretch their legs.

Painted camo and clearly marked “Geocache”, this cache contains a log and small pencil (but as these seem to disappear, it might be a good idea to bring your own pen/pencil). It is large enough for a Geocoin or Where’s George bill swapping but not much else.

Please be very careful to avoid being seen, especially by thruway personnel.

Don't forget to stop by the unique visitor information center.
