Geocache Description:

Falkenbergs järnväg

FJ (Falkenbergs järnväg) was a narrow gauge (891mm) railway built about 100 years ago. The line was 102km and reached between Falkenberg and Limmared. The part between Holsljunga and Limmared was closed down 31 oct 1959 and the complete railway was closed down 30 april 1961. The track was removed in the summer of -61. The large bridge over the river Ätran is since long time ago gone. The only thing on this spot that remain us about the past is a bridge foundation and the former track bed. Some where at the foundation is a cache hidden and waits for you!
