My dad has been here since 1987, and my mom just since March of this year. It's a beautiful, calm, peaceful place....please be respectful :)
Parking is just a few easy paces due west of the Cache. The cache itself is in some shrubbery, surrounding a statue of a small boy who appears to be picking a splinter out of his foot. The initial contents of the case include:
Logbook and Pen
Purdue Golf Ball
Squirrel Call
Rodeo type Belt Buckle
2 guitar picks
Mickey Mouse, American Flag, and Beagle Hound lapel pins.
Also...the first "marker" due east of the Cache is my Mom and Dad's. My dad died in 1987, and was a ham radio operator, and would've LOVED GeoCaching, had he lived to see it. If you've a mind, pay your respects to a good man.
