Berg mit Rundum – Aussicht, Hill with all around view
Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts wurde die Mitteleuropäische Gradmessung durchgeführt. Dafür wurde die Methode der Triangulation genutzt, bei der Entfernungen über Dreiecksberechnungen bestimmt werden. Einer der dafür genutzten Punkte war der Cottaer Spitzberg.
Parken kannst Du bei N 50°54,193’ E 013°58,363’
Gehe zuerst zu den angegebenen Koordinaten. Dort findest Du eine Triangulationssäule. Bei guter Sicht siehst Du weitere „Teilnehmer“ an der Landvermessung: Großer Zschirnstein, Hoher Schneeberg, Borsberg, Goldene Höhe. Suche die offizielle Jahreszahl zur Mitteleuropäischen Gradmessung ABCD. Die Anzahl der Blechstufen beträgt EF. (Solange die unterste Treppe fehlt, bitte noch mal 13 dazu addieren.) Der Cache liegt bei N 50°53,(E+F)BB’ E 013°58,F(E+F)A’. Vielleicht findest Du auch den Schatz, den Zwerge im Cottaer Spitzberg versteckt haben sollen.
In the middle of 19th century the central-European land survey was performed. The used method was triangulation, that means distances were determined by calculating triangles. Cottaer Spitzberg was one of the used points.

First go to the coordinates. You will find there a triangulation pillar. At high visibility you will see other „participants“ of the land survey: Großer Zschirnstein, Hoher Schneeberg, Borsberg, Goldene Höhe. Look for the official date of the central-European land survey ABCD. There are EF steel steps. (One stair is missing, please add 13 steps). The cache is situated at N 50°53,(E+F)BB’ E 013°58,F(E+F)A’. Maybe you will find the treasure, which was hidden in Cottaer Spitzberg by dwarfs.
