Geocache Description:

Cache hidden in quiet woods behind a historic church & cemetery. Very little undergrowth-good cache for family.

Cache hidden within the quiet woods behind historic Machpelah Church & Cemetery. Cemetery established in 1801 within the heart of Lincoln County Iron Ore Industry. The Church was erected in 1848 and can be viewed through its large windows. Both the pews & the slave gallery above are believed to be original. Please see the web site (visit link) for more information about this & other historical sites in Lincoln County. The cemetery contains many unique grave markers, so please be very careful not to let children play on the fraigle monuments. Cache is an ammo can that is clearly marked with large green Geocache.com stickers. Items originally placed include: Varrious patches including a Purina Chows logo, Erricson Stadium Opening Day Coin (1998), Jesus sign of the fish necklaces, cross keychain, Clint Black cd, spring clip, stickers, etc.
