6 miles up beautiful Farmington Canyon is the Sunset Campground. Somewhere near this campground is a cache about the size of a box of band-aids.
The elevation is about 6,200 ft.
This is a 12 site, tent campground with the camping sites snuggled up to the ravine's steep walls. Protected by a dense stand of Canyon oak and Gamble oak, the campground has a very narrow interior road.
The parking aprons are single-car size, dirt and irregular. The campground is pack it in, pack it out.
