A small church overlooking a beautiful countryside of pastures and
rolling hills in Norway's heartland. Sitting on one of the benches
you can take in the impressive, dark hills of Totenåsen, hovering
over Lake Mjøsa.
Balke Kirke is situated on the ancient Pilgrim's Path that runs
through much of Norway. The church is very local, and on the little
cemetery you can see how generations have lived and died on the
farms around here.
The cache is named after a local girl who passed away much too
early and is resting in the little cemetery. Born in the same month
of the same year, we had great fun playing together in her little
doll's house which was full of all kinds of toys. I guess we were
six or seven at the time, and I never saw her again.
The cache is a metal Lakerol container, painted black. It has
the Mark of the Moose. Please trade tiny toys only.
