Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a seldom visited part of Cougar Mountain Park. Enjoy!!!

There are 2 places where you can park to access this cache. I will give discriptions for both. The primary location to park is located at N47 31.528 W122 08.575. Please note that apon arriving at this location it will look like it is a private driveway........be advised that it is NOT a private driveway. continue around the corner and you will find a parking area big enough for about 3 cars as well as the trail head. From this location walk past the gate (see photo) for about 100 yards to the trail you will see to your right. It will be the De Leo trail head. Follow this about 100 yards to a sign that says no horses are allowed.(see photo) Here you will find a fork in the trail, stay to the left at this junction. Continue on to the cache location following this trail.
The secondary parking location is N47 31.622 W122 08.508. Here you will find a trailhead. (see photo). Follow this trail about 200 yards uphill, you will notice a black chain link fence to your right. About 50 feet past the end of the chain link fence you will see a trail heading off to your right. Take this trail, and in about 150 yards you will come to a trail junction. At this junction turn right towards the Water Tower Road. In 1/4 mile you will arrive at the water tower road, just across the road you will see the trail sign for De Leo Wall. From this point on, follow the directions listed for the primary parking place.
From the primary parking location the hike is about 1 mile round trip. From the secondary parking location the walk is about 1 1/2 mile round trip. I have rated it a 3 star terrain because there are a few steep sections on the hike in and out.
