You are invited to visit the Garden of Alcsútdoboz with this geocache. Because of the free access, I put the cache outside of the Garden, but you'll need to entry of Garden to enjoy the root cause. If you go by car, you can park at N47.42191 E18.58690 close to the front door of garden. The front door coordinates: N47.42182 E18.58810 The cache is a 1.3 litre yellow kitchen box, in a hole of a tree. The garden is a nice park. It was a baronial castle from 1819. The owner was palatine Joseph. He was an accomplished gardener. He started to build this garden about 1825. He collected many curiosity plants, and built a very famous garden. The castle was battered down, but the garden is undamaged. The park has been a reservation since 1952. The opening hours: Winter from Thu to Sun: 10:00-16:00 Summer: 10:00-18:00 You will feel good in this place.
