At the mouth of the Hoquiam river. A nice walk on a flat gravel path and a fairly easy search.
In down town Hoquiam, turn right onto 8th street. After RR crossing turn left and park by the yellow gate.
Bring Fido and let him run. Have a leash handy because folks walk their dogs here. Bring the kids too, but please keep an eye on them near the water. Dress accordingly, it can be wet and windy.
You aren't in a crowded area, but people use this path quite often, so make sure no one is watching as you near the cache.
The cache contains an emergency rain poncho (you might need it out there) a Seattle Mariners antenna ball from Jack in the Box, and several items I've picked up in other caches. (You might find something you've seen before)
Look for benchmark SC2689, you'll pass right by it!!
