Geocache Description:

The cache is a camoed tupperware container located in one of Lexington's many parks (Kenawood).

Kenawood is a mature park settled amongst some older Lexington neighborhoods. It has the usual playground and ballpark(s) for visitors to enjoy.

The cache is located near what was once part of the original Louisville and Nashville RR line to Winchester. This section of the line was abandoned when it became redundant and traffic was rerouted to an essentially parallel line just to the north.

The cache originally contained:

  • An electronic key locator
  • Air pressure gauge
  • A bunch of matchbox vehicles
If you are trading, please make sure to trade small items.

This cache was approved by Lexington Fayette Urban County -- Approval Number KW01.

Thanks LFUCG Parks and Recreation for approval to place this cache!
