Racin67Chevy moved out of the area and Team Scrunchy has now adopted the cache as of 12/13/08. This is one of the older caches in the area and it is a good beginners cache, (mostly because the original owner posted all the coordinates for the legs in the hints). We have replace the original final container with something a little more bombproof but everything else has been left unchanged - for now.
This cache is located in beautiful forgotten woods in East Amherst. If you keep your eyes open and walk softly you should see multiple white tail deer. You may also find people walking their dogs thru these woods. There is a small trail that people use.
This nature walk should take you less then an hour. Be careful when you find the final cache. Depending on his mood you may find an angry Kung-Fu Fighting Squirrel. Please do not take him! He is the cache defender.
If he is in a good mood he will sing a great song from the 70’s for you.
You can park and enter to woods from a dead end street in a small development called "The Pines East."
Don’t confuse this with the small development next door called "The Pines."

The two friendly homeowners on this short street do not mind people parking on the street away from their driveways.

This is the North side of Casey and the West side of the creek. You can walk along a berm next to the creek. At some points you may think your walk thru residents backyards but you are not. This will keep you out of the mud to the first location. The others should not be too muddy.
This cache CAN be found in the winter.
