Cache note pertaining to stage 3, GPS reception is usually bad at this location. If you find yourself a little off ground zero just look for the larger of many nearby, what you seek is hidden there about head high.
This cache takes you for a nice walk down the Buck Creek Trail System in the Buck Creek Nature Preserve with the posted coords being the parking area. The terrain is that of easy walking but you should be advised that this cache is to be considered unavailable following heavy rains as the area does flood easily. Also the boardwalk may be quite slick if its wet so please be careful under these conditions. This is a great place to do some CITO as well.
To begin, Count the number of rocks on the inside of the circle, multiply by 128439.82843 divide by 49 then add 5749430029 and 1/64th converted to a decimal and then add 7739296649.54889754 Take this number and compute the square root of that number and multiply that by pi (3.1415923) then again compute the square root of that number to get the N coord... just kidding. :) Your journey begins at N42.53.281 by W085.42.454 which is a short walk down the paved trail to the right of the building you will see there.
I am not real sure of what I should rate this cache as far as difficulty goes so I'll start it out as a 4. Finders, Please post your thoughts as to what difficulty you think it should be and I'll adjust it based on your input.
As usual, please be discrete as this park has a lot of visitors. Replace the stages as well as the cache as you found them so that they are not obvious to people walking by. A cell phone may also come in handy as a "ask a friend lifeline" may be needed.
One last thing, PLEASE!!! DO NOT REMOVE any of the stages to take them home and solve. Others may be working on this cache as well and if you take the tags then they will not be able to find them which tends to tick people off really bad. I recommend taking along a digital camera or pen and paper as you may find it usefull. Note: The difficulty may be a bit higher during summer as tree cover will likely mess with your GPS.
Thanks and enjoy your hunt.
