Blizzard Egg Hunt
The Blizzard Egg Hunt was placed days before the Dec 6-7 2003 Nor'easter snow storm. There should be 12-24 inches of snow on the ground at the first posting of this cache. So just when you thought there will be no new caches to find in the winter here’s the first one we will post this winter. So get out the XC Skis and the Snowshoes Lets see who would venture out to try to find this multi cache of hidden Eggs. There are 3 Eggs to find on each Egg are the coordinates to the next Egg, The third Egg has the coordinates to the cache.
The Annursnac Hill Conservation Land
The entrance is marked by a sign on Strawberry hill Rd 300 ft north of College Rd . Parking in the winter could be a challenge in its self. Some history (Annursnack Hill) as it was called long ago. This former pig farm was purchased by Harvard University in 1949 and used for Antenna research. You can see some type of junction boxes mounted up high on some trees along the trails. The 118 acres were bought by the town Concord in 1970.
Trails are mainly flat around the base of Annursnac Hill, used mainly by horses and hikers there are some muddy in areas. The trail going up Annursnac Hill is steep.
