Sherman's End Multi-Cache

Located in the Norman F. Kruse Park and includes hiking up and DOWN some fairly steep dunes. Some pretty views so bring your camera. When parking, use the parking lot on the left after entering the park. But, before you go home check out the right side parking lot too. There is a nice playground and a beautiful boardwalk as well. This park is seperated from private property by a well traveled dirt road. There is NEVER any reason to cross over this street and onto this property.
This is a three stage cache and it is also my first. It could be a physical challenge for kids (and adults!) Some steep, leaf covered dunes/hills.
Please take care on the Stage One Dune. You will NOT need to bushwack the dune in any way. Basically, You will find stage one by staying on established trails.
Stage One: Clue is encypted below. After finding it, have a seat and enjoy the view. Bring a snack!
Stage Two: Clue at stage one. This stage has a steep and sometimes slippery slope (depending upon the season). you may want to wear an old pair of pants. (I found out the hard way!)
Stage Three: Clue at stage two. Please hide stage well again when complete. Thanks.
On August 4, 2004 I updated Stage One after it had disappeared. (Well...I found the hallow log in which I had hid the cache down by the beach...all burnt up and surrounded by an empty six pack of Bud! I also replaced the Stage Three ammo box after several cachers noted the original was not closing well and things were getting wet.
There are a few deer around so keep your eyes open. I hope you enjoy the park!
