HeadLlama: I didn't want to archive this cache since it's just one part of the whole series but since I will have to relocate the cache to another location anyway, I may as well. Sadly, I just haven't had time to dedicate to caching lately. Eventually maybe I'll have the time to make a Hunting Bears II in a better, more easily reached place on the island.

Geocache Description:

HUNTING BEARS

Hunting Island offers 8 miles of excellent trails for hiking or mountain biking. To bag this game you will have to walk about 1/2 a mile round trip.

The cache is filled with stuffed/beanie bears of all descriptions. If possible, please only trade bear related items. The container is approximately 15" high with a 5" opening, so large bears need not apply.

There is a trailhead near the campground that begins here: N 32° 23.173 / W 080° 26.179. The trail wanders through the forest and ends near the main entrance of the park. If you're not staying in the campground, access to the trail is problematic. There's no parking at either end of the trail and the campstore has a 15 minute limit.

I wouldn't leave the trail too soon, you might get eaten by a bear.

Please make sure the lid is tight when you leave, the den is in a damp place.
