To get the cache,
from the SS 439 get to Lajatico; go out the village, then follow
the yellow sign with a castle icon. After 500m the road will become
dirty.
Park the car at N
43°26.966 E 10°41.732. If you have an off-road vehicle you can
continue 900 m more and park at N 43°26.580 E 10°41.709.
From the top of
this place, there is an incredible view: if you are lucky to find a
favourable weather with high visibility, you will be able to see
from Appennini mountains to the Mediterranean sea (included Elba
isle).
The cache is a
Tupperware type container (19x14x6cm) with a blue lid.

La scoperta delle tracce storiche del medioevo
in Toscana continua….
Per arrivare alla cache, dalla SS 439 arrivate
a Lajatico (PI), uscite dal paese e seguite il cartello giallo con
il simbolo di un castello. Dopo 500m la strada diventerà
sterrata.
Parcheggiate la macchina in N 43°26.966 E
10°41.732. Se avete un fuoristrada, potete continuare altri 900 m e
parcheggiare in N 43°26.580 E 10°41.709.
Dalla sommità di questo posto, c’è
un’incredibile vista: se sarete fortunati di avere un tempo
favorevole con buona visibilità, potrete vedere dagli Appennini al
mar Tirreno (isola d’Elba compresa).
La cache è in un contenitore (19x14x6cm) con
un coperchio blu.
