Mississippi Winter Fellowship Event Cache

King Kong: I am going to archive this cache.

Thanks to everyone that made the trip to Laurel, I met a lot of new cachers, that this was their first gathering. It was good visiting with everyone there, I didn't get to visit as much as I would have liked to, I tried to stay close to the table to sign everyone up. I received several emails telling me how much they enjoyed the fellowship and looking forward to our next one, thanks for the kind words everyone gave me in the logs and the emails.

I had the help of a lot of folks, thanks to everyone for all the help. I'm looking forward to our next fellowship.

Geocache Description:

Winter fellowship for all geocachers to discuss geocaching

Please join us in Laurel, MS for a fellowship of geocachers on Feb. 28, 2004. The location is at the Calhoun Community Center about 5 miles out of Laurel. The building will let us visit inside if the weather is bad, there is a kitchen, tables and chairs and restrooms. If the weather is nice, there is a big area outside for the kids to play.

If you would like to find a benchmark that is within walking distance check out: BV1831

You can pick up lunch in Laurel or at Mr. T's Dairy Bar, which is real close. It is at: N 31 41.779 W 089 12.513. I don't think you will be disappointed with their food. The building is reserved from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Please post a note if you are planning on making the meeting. If you would like to donate a door prize please bring it. We will have a box to place the travel bugs in.

For more discussion on the fellowship please visit our MS Forum: MSGA Fellowship

Hope to see you in Laurel on Feb. 28, 2004.

Frank, King Kong
