This is the first stage of a 3-stage multi-cache. The second and third stages of this multi-cache are the “Dwight Mission” (GCHBER) and “Ouita” (GCHBEZ) caches. To find the coordinates for these caches, you must first find this cache.
Although I love searching for multi-caches, I do not like the fact that you can only log one cache find for a multi-cache after finding the last stage. I have spent hours looking for intermediate stages of some multi-caches, and although I may have found as many as 4 or 5 other caches to get to the final one, I can log only one find for my efforts. This multi-cache changes all that! Each stage has a log for the finder to sign, in addition to the coordinates for the next stage. Therefore, if one does not wish to continue to search for the remaining stages, then one can at least log a find for the stage they have found.
This cache is named for a tale I have heard about the cemetery you will pass by on the road to the cache area, the May Hill Cemetery. The story goes that during the construction of the nearby nuclear plant in the 1970’s, this cemetery was a popular gathering and party spot for workers getting off shift at midnight. The workers jokingly referred to the cemetery as the “May Hill Social Club”.
The cache container is a preform (aka, baby soda bottle), with a log only and the coordinates for stage 2. The box is too small for any trade items. Please bring your own writing instrument. No pen or pencil inside. If you don't sign the log, you may not claim a find and any online log will be deleted. Be warned!
After signing the log and returning it to the cache, make sure the cap is closed snugly to keep out rainwater. There is no need to overtighten it. Please do not place any trade items. including coins!
