Geocache Description:

Features wide views of the Tehachapi mountains to the west and the Antelope valley to the south. This cache can be reached fairly easily in most vehicles.

This cache is located in another area with nice views of the mountains of Tehachapi and the Antelope Valley. It is located just a few km. from the TABLE TOP cache in Tropico (west of Rosamond). Kids will enjoy exploring the rock formations (lots of "pockets" or huecos) and the hills are pretty tempting if you enjoy hiking. Hiking distance will be no more than 290 meters --likely far less in most 2WD vehicles. Original contents include: a small pocket knife, light stick, carabiner, sewing kit, tire patch kit, match container, clip-on compass, and a calculator. Be safe and have fun!!!
