Geocache Description:

The Council of Trees Cache is named for the cluster of ancient twisted and gnarly trees which appear as you approach the cache. You'll know it when you reach the area.

This cache is located in a seldom used section of Webster Park. For a long time I saw only game trails in here, but some real trails been built in the area since then. There are some interesting contrasts in landscape between thick brush, pine forests, and most significantly the council of trees. If the time is right and you're quiet, you are likely to see deer in here. This was one of Java's favorite areas to run around in, and I think you'll like it as well.

The thorns are pretty thick in places so use caution when moving around. There are many fallen limbs and brush piles which may be habitat for neighbors of the cache, so avoid crashing around. Although it can be a bit of a maze, you shouldn't need to bushwack. Watch for deer trails and take advantage of them.

You are looking for a green camoflaged plastic container approximately the size of a 30 cal. ammo can. Please leave larger trade items at home as there isn't a lot of extra room in the container.

One final note: Make sure you replace the cache exactly as you found it so the next person has the same challenge you did... Thanks!
