How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

My cache is back up and restocked. I had to close it in November of 2022 due to sewer work being done on that side of my house and it took me much longer to get it going again than I expected. That was the first time I had to close my cache in nearly 20 years! This is an extremely easy cache to find and don't be afraid to walk on this private property. This is my house! You have my permission to look for it and I promise small children will think it's Christmas when they open this cache!

Are you tired of ticks, poison ivy, thorns, sticker bushes and all the other things that make geocaching a pain? Well then, this might be the cache for you! It was designed so even small children can participate and the cache is loaded with brand new surprises for them. Please trade with something of equal or better value. Most items in this cache only cost a dollar. If you are bringing a Travel Bug, please put it in the plastic bag in the cache so others can find them easily. The plastic bag is plainly labeled. Since the cache is on my own property, you do not need to ask permission to look for it, I am already granting that to you, but please be carefully of my wife's flowers and plants. The cache is in plain view, but it is protected from the weather. This cache also serves as the home base for my Boomerang Bug. If you are the individual who is returning him to me; THANK YOU!!! I will send him on another adventure soon. There is, of course, a log book in the cache to document your visit and it has been signed by people from the United Kingdom, Honduras and even Japan! This is the original log book that was placed in the cache on December 15, 2003! If we are home, we would be happy to meet you. We are always excited to meet other geocachers and I would love to show you my climbing wall. I believe I have the highest privately indoor climbing wall in the Mid-west! HAPPY GEOCACHING!!!
