This is one of the most outstanding mountain peaks in the area. From the top were the cache is, you can see the whole Joshua Tree basin. It's a medium to difficult climb with good rock scrambling skills required. About 2 hours roundtrip including time to enjoy the view. Altitude change about 500 ft. depending from which side of the mountain you start.
We, the Joshua Tree locals, have had a logbook cache up here since around 1990. This cache is a ammo can with the green Geocaching sticker on it and full of loot. There's a camera with seperate log for those who want to have their pictures posted when full. I'm going to launch my TB "Just the Fax" from here........ I haven't found the old glass jar with paper log cache we'd had up there, If anyone finds it please tell me.
