Cache is located inside a 4' long hollow log under a cedar tree about 12 feet off the trail. The cache can be reached by biking or hiking on the walking trails. Its about 3.5 miles from Campbell Barracks or the MTV housing area. It's also only about 1.25 miles from the Stairs to Heaven Cache. Elevation was 1285 ft, the accurancy of my GPS read at 34.7'. Trail rest area is nearby.
The cache is located inside the log. It is in a small rubbermaid container. It has a pencil, pen and notebook. Please leave you name and home town in the notebook. It is possible to dive to within 600' of this cache. (Note: Several small items added to cache on December 24, 2003) Thanks. John
