NOT THE REAL COORDINATES!!! SQUIRRELS DON’T LIKE SCUBA GEAR OR SWIMMING/BOATING ACROSS LARGE LAKES (ALTHOUGH SOME HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO WATER SKI).
Squirrels are (in)famous for collecting and hiding small caches of nuts just about everywhere. While this assists with the propagation of trees (and sunflowers and corn and pumpkins) and can be fun to watch if you like squirrels, it can be frustrating when your lawn starts to sprout pumpkin vines.
Despite what Post-It Note commercials may tell you, squirrels are also notorious for misplacing many of these little caches. Fortunately other squirrels do not seem to have a problem taking nuts from any cache they find.
Acorn the Squirrel has filled his Nutcase cache (which looks an awful lot like an ammo can) with nuts. Most of these nuts look a lot like mini cache kits. He placed it out in the countryside, but cannot remember where. Now he needs your help to find it. His squirrel friends Chitter the Squirrel and Chatter the Squirrel may be helpful in the search since they spend a lot of time traveling around the Sacramento area.
Of course, if you find the cache, you can help propagate these nuts by taking one of them and burying it in a new location. To keep the squirrels happy, when you bury one of the nuts, you are encouraged to name it with a nut-related title.
For those of you who don’t want to go burying nuts in the countryside, there are a small number of regular trade items included in the cache as well (including a Squirrel Pin and a rare Angel Squirrel Pin).
