This house used to have cute characters in the front yard, but I understand that the current home owner has removed the display. This would want me to take the cache down, but there are so few virtual caches left, I want to leave the cache up.
This 13 mile detour will not add much time to your drive because the detour will parallel 395.
Along the way, make sure and stop by one of my favorite caches, Swall Meadows Lamb Cache. You will also be passing a group of cabins described in Sue Grafton's "N is for Noose".
If going Northbound, turn left at Pine Creek Road at N37 25.169 W118 33.343; then make a quick right turn on Lower Rock Creek Road.
If going Southbound, turn right at Lower Rock Creek Road at N37 33.481 W118 39.643
You are looking for a fun house in what seems like the middle of nowhere. There is no need to disturb the owner, all you need to do is admire his/her work.
